Zenova - Fire Protection

Zenova Group PLC are at the forefront of developing innovative fire safety and heat management products and technology which have applications across multiple sectors, including housing, industry, and commerce.

Black Water Media have been working with Zenova group on numerous projects, capturing video and stills for both marketing purposes, and more importantly for product testing comparisons between various products. This has been part of the process of Zenova’s products being approved by councils and commercial clients to improve both insulation and fire safety in people’s homes and businesses.

This project took place at the GATR fire testing facility in Essex, and involved a number of different burns, from fence panels to full rooms, aiming to record and demonstrate the effectiveness of Zenova's various fire protection paints and sprays.

Using two fixed video cameras we filmed the burns in full to create time-lapse demonstrations of the differences, and a third camera taking stills and more cinematic video for marketing.
